  • Add an action: Choose an app (in this case Online Reviews) to receive your data and specify an action to perform automatically. (See "Add an Action" below for more details)

undefined

Add a Trigger

  • Choose Stripe as the app to send your data.
  • Select the "Checkout Session Completed" event to trigger your automation.

undefined

  • Connect your Stripe account. This connection is essential for the automation to retrieve and send data to your Stripe account. The provided key grants access to your Stripe system, enabling seamless data utilization in the automation.
  • After you click on "Select Stripe account connection," click on "Add a connection." If your Stripe account is already connected skip this step.
    • In the "Create a connection to Stripe" pop-up:
      • Create a unique name for your connection. We recommend using different names for your connections to avoid confusion. You can change this later.
      • Paste your Stripe secret key, then click continue. How to find your stripe secret key

  • If the connection is successful, you will see the message "Connection successfully created." Click on "OK, thank you."
  • Click on "Add a trigger" to save.
  • You can skip the webhook settings.

Once the trigger setup is complete, add a filter to ensure requests are only sent to customers who complete the checkout session on a specific payment link.

  • Click the filter icon, then select "Add a condition."

undefined

  • Set the condition as follows:
    • Value: The ID of the payment link that created this session
    • Condition: Equals (=)
    • Value: Paste your payment link (e.g., "plink_1OEuzFBtmApuB7rqEnosX2UK"). How to get the payment link

  • Save the condition changes.
    • Note: You can add more than one condition by using the boolean "OR."

Additional Actions and Features

  • Additionally, you can enhance your automation by adding more actions or using tools to introduce features such as time delay. Time delay postpones an action for a period determined by the user, allowing the flexibility to schedule the next step in the automation.

undefined

How to Set Up Time Delay:

  • Click on "Tool" to open the tool selection menu.
  • Scroll down and select "Automation delay (minutes)."
  • Set your delay period in minutes between 1-10080 minutes (e.g., 120) and save.

Adding an Action

  • Click on "Add action." In the Add Action Settings Pop-up:
  • Choose an app (in this case, Online Reviews) to receive the data.
  • Choose an action (in this case, Send SMS) you want to perform.
  • Connect your Online Reviews account; leave this option as it is.
  • Click "Add an action" to save the changes.

  • Afterward: An "Online Reviews: Send SMS" pop-up will appear. Match the fields with their corresponding fields in Stripe as shown in the image below.

The automation setup is complete. Click on "Start" to launch it.

The below confirmation message will be shown indicating your automation is complete and on. You can either go to the main screen or check the automation logs.
