If your automation isn’t working as expected, the first step is to identify the error.
You can use this guide to help locate it: https://onlinereviews.kb.help/handling-errors/

Once you've found the error, review it carefully.
Below is a list of the most common issues that occur when using Google Sheets as the trigger.

Error

This usually happens if you've made changes to your sheet, such as deleting rows, which may have broken the workflow. To resolve this, please reconnect the Google Sheet file or recreate the entire automation.

Timeout Error

The "request time exceeded" error (also known as the timeout error) typically occurs due to the Google Sheets server. It happens when the service (app) takes longer than expected to respond to the request. While these errors are not critical, you can find more details about them here. To resolve this, please reconnect the Google Sheet file or recreate the entire automation. This may address any authorization or connection issues that could be causing the timeout.

Something Went Wrong

Is the Google Sheet used in the automation showing the option to add more rows or columns at the bottom? If yes, add them, update the connection, and run some tests to check if the automation works.

If the error persists, it’s likely due to changes made in your sheet, such as deleting rows, which may have broken the workflow. Here are some rules to follow when working with Google Sheets.

Insufficient Funds

The default automation limit is set to 100 per month to prevent spam issues. However, we can increase this limit upon request.

Requested entity was not found

This error appears when you either change the spreadsheet name or the spreadsheet is deleted – this becomes visible when updating the spreadsheet in the trigger. Please select the correct spreadsheet and sheet for integration, run the automation, and test it.

Authorisation is required

This issue is related to your browser blocking third-party cookies. To resolve it, simply enable third-party cookies or try running the automation in a different browser. Here’s how you can fix it.
